Logistics bulletins, 1950-1971.

The series contains bulletins issued by the Military Dept. and the Adjutant General relating to supply and maintenance issues from 1950 to 1971. Among the topics covered are ammunition supplies, medical supplies, clothing supplies, unit and individual training, and vehicle maintenance. Most years have a topical index of subjects discussed in the bulletins.

The Florida National Guard was established in 1909 (Ch. 5930, Laws) replacing the Florida State Troops. From 1921 until 1973, the Guard was placed under the Military Dept (Ch. 8502, Laws). The Military Dept. was created in 1921 (Ch. 8502, Laws), it was directed by the Adjutant General, and its headquarters were in St. Augustine.
